Qualifications

Required

  • Previous transportation and supervisory experience preferred.
  • Able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
  • Open availability, facility runs 24/7 including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be willing to work in varying weather conditions.
  • Proficiency in typing, mathematical knowledge, organization, and time management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Windows, PowerPoint, and Excel) skills.

We are seeking a Railyard Train Supervisor that will be responsible for effective and efficient coordinating of inbound/ outbound units are loaded onto the train and ensure proper handling.

  • Scheduling and Management of rail yard staff.
  • Coordinating and preparing the railcars for loading and unloading.
  • Check and Verify unit numbers on all inbound and outbound trains.
  • Coordinate the movements of both Switch and Ramp crews to identify situations that require problem solving to achieve efficient flow of the yard.
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Customer service experience is preferred, this is an indoor desk position..
  • Open availability, facility runs 24/7 including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Able to work rotating 12 hour shifts, texas two step and alternating days to nights.
  • Proficiency in typing, mathematical knowledge, organization, and time management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Windows, PowerPoint, and Excel) skills.
