Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Familiarity with the needs of Hartford's inner-city community and public policy issues related to food availability
  • Food pantry certification or ability to obtain this credential through Foodshare

Preferred

  • Master's degree in education, social services, or public policy
  • Demonstrated knowledge of adult education and group facilitation
  • Experience with online learning and related platforms (Google Classroom, Zoom, etc.)
  • Bilingual English and Spanish

As a member of the F4H management team, assists in the development of department goals, objectives and standards, quality assurance, department education, and budget development, preparation, and control. Coordinates department activities to include regulatory requirements, quality control and performance improvement. Responsible for hiring, supervising, and evaluating team members. Serves as an effective liaison between department staff, leaders, and other department leaders across Hartford Healthcare (HHC). Implements, executes, and reports on all aspects of the program while overseeing the community food pantry initiative. *Required:* Bachelor's degree 5 years of leadership and management experience. Familiarity with the needs of Hartford's inner-city community and public policy issues related to food availability.
