As the Facilities Maintenance Lead at Amentum, you will be responsible for a variety of daily support activities including assisting leadership with operations, managing building HVAC and mechanical systems, acting as a technical expert in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and BMS, and performing general building repairs. Responsibilities

  • Assist Leadership in the execution of all daily operations for the facilities team, including assignment and completion of departmental work orders, safety operations, various training, and special assigned duties.
  • Monitor and adjust the building HVAC and mechanical systems, acknowledge critical building alarms, and take appropriate corrective actions and notify technicians after hours if repairs are needed.
  • Act as technical expert in the areas of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and BMS.
  • Monitor Building Management Systems (BMS) to ensure space conditions are in accordance with building requirements.
  • Perform general building repairs, patching/painting, light bulbs, ceiling tiles, floor work, etc.
  • Work in a team environment with a one team mentality; be friendly, respectful, empathetic, and professional to teammates and clients.

Qualifications

Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Eight years of technical experience in any skilled trade
  • 3 years of experience in the operation of building management systems
  • Supervisory or leadership experience.
  • Ability to obtain a security access badge at our client's location.
  • Willingness to work overtime, holidays, various shifts, and weekends
  • Must be a United States citizen or Permanent Resident.
  • Ability to regularly lift to 50 lbs
  • Ability to regularly climb ladders, steps, and scaffolding
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions: bend, stoop, squat, kneel, stretch, reach, wrist movement
  • Ability to walk extensively throughout the building during shift
  • Ability to communicate effectively in one-on-one or group discussions, meetings, and presentations.

Preferred

  • Technical degree.
  • Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS); EAMS experience is a plus.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
  • Knowledge of Preventive Maintenance Programs.
  • Demonstrated technical background of operations in an pharmaceutical or hospital facilities environment
  • OE2, S-1 or S-2 license
  • USP 797 and 897 knowledge

Full Job Description

As the facilities maintenance lead, you will be responsible for daily support activities, including:

This position will act as a working facilities lead and work closely with the client.

+ Monitoring and adjusting the building HVAC and mechanical systems, acknowledging critical building alarms, and taking appropriate corrective actions and notifying technicians after hours should repairs be needed.

+ Acting as technical expert in the areas of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and BMS
