Qualifications

Required

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Physician Assistant credentialed from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Verified by local Credentialing Office.
  • Physician Assistant with Prescriptive Authority credentialed from the Michigan Board Physician Assistants Task Force obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Verified by local Credentialing Office.
  • Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program required.

Preferred

  • Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • 1 year of experience preferred.

+ **Department: Surgery**

+ **Schedule: Day Monday - Friday 6:00am- 7:00 pm with the flexibility to take late cases as needed. No Weekend, No Holidays**

+ **Hospital: Ascension Providence Park Novi**

+ **Location: Novi MI**

**This position is 0-1 days in the OR and the rest of the hours on the floor conducting bedside procedures, pre-op and post-op follow-up or new consults.**
