The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for generating new rental revenue through new and existing H&E Rentals. The ideal candidate should be people-oriented, aggressive, sales driven and a team player.

**Outside Sales Earnings Potential:**

Our commitment to recognizing and rewarding talent is evident in our sales representatives' earnings. The top 10% of our sales reps averaged over $200,000 last year, and our average sales reps earn between $75K - $100K within the first 12 months.

**Outside Sales Key Responsibilities:**

+ **Revenue Generation:** Generate new rental agreements and grow existing customer revenue within a defined sales territory.

+ **Prospecting & Relationship Building:** Build prospects and foster strong business relationships to expand the customer base.

+ **Sales Activities:** Perform cold-calls and conduct job site visits to identify and pursue business opportunities.

+ **Software Utilization:** Regularly utilize customer resource software to track leads, manage accounts, and identify potential business opportunities.

**Outside Sales Preferred Qualifications:**

+ **Sales Experience:** Previous outside sales experience preferred.

+ **Communication Skills:** Strong verbal and written communication skills.

+ **Organizational Skills:** Excellent organizational capabilities with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

+ **Technical Proficiency:** Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant business software applications.
