Qualifications

  • Experience building Azure DevOps pipelines with YAML.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud services and tools (e.g., App Services, Functions, databases, storage, monitoring, scripting languages).
  • Experience with Azure CLI, PowerShell, Terraform, ARM templates, or other scripting/infrastructure-as-code tools.
  • Experience with monitoring and troubleshooting tools (Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics, etc.).
  • Knowledge of DevOps concepts, security principles, and best practices.
  • Experience with networking, databases, and operating systems (Windows, Linux).
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Software Development, IT Engineering, or a related field.

Note from the Manager:


Manager is looking for a mid-level to senior DevOps engineer with demonstrated experience working with Azure DevOps to build/deploy cloud services on Azure. They should be very comfortable creating CI/CD pipelines from scratch including integrating test suites and SAST/DAST scanners, finding the optimal deployment infrastructure and provisioning using infra-as-code (ARM templates and/or Terraform).


The secondary focus is supporting existing SaaS customers by participating in a weekly on-call rotation, performing scheduled upgrade deployments, diagnosing alerts and metrics and escalating issues to Engineering as needed and partnering with them to debug problems.
