Overview:

This law firm delivers first-tier litigation and arbitration services from a smaller, more client friendly New York platform in midtown Manhattan. Their key practice areas include international arbitration, insurance and re-insurance disputes, commercial litigation, and bankruptcy. While they remain committed to the “boutique” model, years of steady growth reflects their winning track-record and the appreciation of their clients. They are looking for a 3rd or 4th year Litigation Associate, with some experience working on bankruptcy matters.


Requirements:

  • 3 to 4 years of litigation experience at a law firm.
  • Strong experience in all phases of litigation including arguing and defending motions, taking and defending depositions, and participation at trial.
  • Some experience working on bankruptcy matters is a big plus.
  • JD and good grades from a top law school.
  • Admitted to practice in New York (active member in good standing).
  • Must be able to work independently and have excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.


Compensation/Benefits:

  • The approximate annual base salary for this position is $205,000 to $225,000 depending upon the qualifications of the individual, and level/years of relevant experience. They also offer a discretionary bonus of up to $195,000 based on yearly billings, commitment, etc.
