Qualifications

Required

  • Certification from a Respiratory Therapy Program
  • Completion of 2-year certificate from an AMA approved Respiratory Therapy Program
  • California Respiratory Care Practitioner License upon hire
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
  • National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire
  • National Provider PALS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire

Preferred

  • 1 year Critical care experience in adult intensive care
  • Pediatric experience
  • EKG experience

Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) duties as applied in general clinical care areas, critical/intensive care (i.e. CICU, SICU, and IICU), Emergency Department, Trauma, Perioperative, Labor and Delivery, and other care areas as required. The RCP Position requires clinical assessment skills, ability to make appropriate clinical decisions, provide respiratory treatment and care for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. The RCP performs all duties of blood gas analysis including stick, draw, analysis and reporting.

**Required Qualifications:**
