Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Math or a related technical field
  • At least 4 years of related work experience in Technology field, preferably with SaaS system PowerPlan System supporting PowerPlan
  • 2 years of leadership/project leadership experience
  • Demonstrate leadership capabilities through projects or other work planning experiences
  • Strong understanding of and experience in IT project management methodologies, requirements management, quality assurance and IT processes
  • Broad knowledge of the Finance/Accounting functions and applications, and of system and technology alternatives
  • Demonstrated experience managing outsourced vendors within the information technology field
  • Ability to quickly gain knowledge of process dependencies and linkage across the business
  • Proficient in IT analysis methodologies (i.e. process flow definition, data flow diagramming, etc.)
  • Strong consultative skills and the ability to work effectively with client and other systems technical staff, consultants, and vendors
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to provide analytical conclusions and support recommended action/decisions with clarity

Preferred

  • Technical/software certification such as AWS certification, etc.
  • Relevant technical acumen or experience in computer programming, development or coding
  • Understanding of basic financial principles including experience with project financial budgeting and planning
  • Project Management Professional Certification (PMP)

**Job Summary**

This position is a direct report to the Applications Group Products Supervisor and has sound knowledge of business processes in Finance and Accounting. This position is responsible for managing the PowerPlan product to meet business outcomes, spanning multiple technologies, including associated impact, cost and complexity. This role provides technical guidance and direction to the PowerPlan application support teams for activities required of the portfolio.

In the capacity of Technology Product Consultant, the qualified candidate will provide technical support and oversite for daily PowerPlan runs to ensure success. This role evaluates and diagnoses (defines) issues and works closely with the Finance and Procurement business teams to support remediation.

This includes responsibility for the PowerPlan System ensuring proper operational support, and problem resolution input for the application.

**Job Responsibilities**

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Validate night runs and manage failed jobs.

- Refresh the production environment monthly in preparation of month-end close activities to ensure a clean copy for testing, etc.

- Work closely with the close team (within Finance/Procurement) to monitor all month-end close activities when they run.

- Work with DBAs (Accenture) through ServiceNow ticketing to provide general support to the business as needed.

- Monitor and support yearly Disaster Recovery tests.

- Provide project support.

This position looks to the future strategy and development of applications to coordinate with and prepare the business for potential upgrades and related considerations. May provide guidance and direction to one or support team members.

**Job Specific Qualifications**

**Required:**

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Math or a related technical field

- At least 4 years of related work experience in Technology field preferably with:
