  • Familiar with Allen Bradley PLC, Auto-Cad, SAP
  • Electrical Journeyman's Card
  • Understanding of NEC and NFPA70E

**_What's the job?_**

The Electrical Maintenance Technician ensures the proper functioning of electrical systems and equipment within the plant.- The ideal candidate should have a strong electrical background in troubleshooting electrical equipment including PLC's, motor controls, temperature controls and other equipment up to 480 volts in a manufacturing environment.

Hours: Work a core schedule of M-F 5:30am - 2:00pm, some OT

**Duties:**

+ Hands-on troubleshooting and repair of electrical processes, systems, and controls to improve safety, quality and efficiency

+ Assist in answering line calls from production to troubleshoot electrical and extrusion problems

+ Create electrical schematics and blueprints for new electrical installations and update existing blueprints

+ Participate in project teams for new equipment installations and capital improvement, sourcing vendors, issuing purchase orders, etc.

**_What do you bring?_**

+ Hands on experience with industrial controls, engineering practices

+ 5 years of experience - hands on experience with HMIs, PLCs, motion controls, Rockwell (Control Logix, Factory Talk), ethernet/IP and Modbus communication networks

+ Specific Technologies: Familiar with Allen Bradley PLC, Auto-Cad, SAP

+ Electrical Journeyman's Card

+ Understanding of NEC and NFPA70E
