Qualifications

Required

  • Flexible and adaptable to change with a keen attention to detail
  • Effective time management and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Polished business etiquette paired with a warm and welcoming sense of hospitality
  • Competency in basic office admin, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred

  • ServSafe Manager, TIPS, Department of Health Food Handler's Card certification

Job Summary

Join us at The Paramount Club, an exquisite members club at the prestigious 1301 Avenue of the Americas. The club offers a suite of amenities, including all-day restaurant and bar, events auditorium, wellness studio, barista café, sports lounge, boardroom & conference, and business lounge.

Working closely with the General Manager, you will be responsible for the successful operation of the club's restaurant, café, and sports lounge as well as contributing to the success of a variety of hospitality experiences taking place across the club's many amenities. The Assistant General Manager will supervise daily operations, train and performance manage the service team, be a model for warm hospitality, and ensure optimal guest experience for every member.

This position requires Monday through Friday availability, for both daytime and evenings. As a hospitality leader, work hours will vary based on events and other activations, however the club generally operations Mon - Friday from 7a - 9p and is closed on weekends and holidays. As a member of the R/A team, the position will also have access to a suite of health and wellness benefits, free meals, commuter benefits, and more.

Fine dining and/or luxury hospitality experience is required.

Key Responsibilities:
