The Personal Attendant Caregiver is responsible for providing non-medical, in-home personal care and companionship for clients who require assistance with daily living activities.   • Accompany clients to appointments, social outings, and other activities as needed.
  • Provide companionship and support to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Perform light housekeeping duties such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe living environment.
  • Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding if necessary.
  • Ensure clients' homes are organized and clutter-free to prevent falls and accidents.
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and clients' conditions, including any changes or concerns.
  • Communicate effectively with clients' families, healthcare providers, and supervisors regarding clients' needs and progress.
  • Report any incidents, accidents, or changes in clients' conditions promptly.

Qualifications

Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is an asset.
  • Compassionate, patient, and empathetic with a strong desire to help others.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and assisting clients with mobility.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Job Summary:

Available Shifts

Mon - Fri 7am to 3pm OR

Weekend Shifts 16 hours

Key Responsibilities:

1. Personal Care:

  • Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
  • Provide medication reminders and ensure clients take medications as prescribed.
  • Support clients with exercises and physical activities as prescribed by a healthcare professional.

2. Companionship:
