  • Complete performance improvement reports, conduct compliance-related investigations, and implement corrective actions.
  • Timely completion of performance evaluations, mandatory trainings, and professional development activities.
  • Demonstrate cultural sensitivity, individualized care, and consideration of residents' age and developmental needs when providing care and treatment.
  • Fulfill other assigned duties as required.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in behavioral sciences or related field supplemented by courses in business administration.
  • Ten (10) years of work experience in a correctional or secure forensic mental health facility.
  • At least five (5) years of managerial level experience.
  • Certification as a state correctional officer.

The Security Director assumes the crucial role of overseeing and managing the daily operations and functions of the security department, ensuring the safety and security of the client population and staff.
