As an HR Business Partner at Lifepoint Health, you will be a key player in promoting Human Resources standardization and process improvement. You will collaborate with operations leadership to enhance leadership capabilities, workforce performance, and overall engagement. This role involves working independently, with guidance from the AVP and VP of Talent Relations in high-level situations, and supports various HR functions including Employee Relations, Recruiting, Learning and Development, Compensation, and more.

Responsibilities

  • Provides general guidance and interpretation to associates and managers on company human resources policies, procedures and practices
  • Confers with the AVP, Talent Relations and VP, Talent Relations on all compliance issues, policy/procedure violations or unusual, non-standard matters
  • Investigates, oversees and resolves complaints or employee issues in accordance with company policy and procedure
  • Maintains employee relations records concerning staffing and employee relations
  • Respond to inquiries by collaborating with internal business partners, as needed, to research, conduct root cause analysis and communicate feedback to stakeholders
  • Provide operational support for specific special projects in assigned areas of expertise
  • Provide excellent customer service at every interaction
  • Identify trends and offer recommendations for process improvement or issue resolution
  • Use HR reporting & analytics in generating insights and presenting findings back to the business, as well as tracking and disseminating key HR data
  • Maintain an awareness and currency of Human Resources principles, practices and related regulatory environment
  • Coach HSC supervisors/managers on appropriate and corrective actions necessary to turn around ineffective behaviors and performances
  • Lead, develop, direct, and coach a team of HR Professionals; engage in the typical responsibilities of a manager requiring planning, evaluating, and organizing
  • Provide guidance and coaching to leaders and employees on a variety of issues including employee relations and performance management
  • Build and maintain employee culture and morale
  • Be a change agent for people related initiatives
  • Deliver relevant business solutions, tools, and resources to support and positively shape the employee experience
  • Develop strong relationships with HR centers of expertise to aid the business in effective solutions in all areas of HR
  • Ensure a strong understanding of laws and regulations to help the organization stay in compliance
  • Ability to be agile and can jump into new projects, move to new roles and learn through ongoing experiences

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related field from a four-year college or university
  • 5 years progressive HR experience

Preferred

  • Human Resources certification (i.e. PHR, SHRM-CP)

The People Services Business Partner collaborates with business leaders to strengthen leadership capabilities, workforce performance, and overall engagement. Using data and analytics, will identify trends, build culture, implement human resources programs to ensure Lifepoint employees have a "your experience matters" work environment.**

*EDUCATION: *Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related field a four-year college or university or equivalent experience in a human resources role.

*CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE:*Human Resources certification preferred (i.e. PHR, SHRM-CP)

Minimum overnight travel (up to 10%) by land and/or air.
