Barber / Stylist

A Hammer & Nails Cut & Shave Artist (Barber) is a licensed Master Barber who provides Cut & Shave services. All Artists (Barber/Stylist) work together with the Member Concierge Team and Management Team to provide a superior experience in a professional atmosphere. We are MORE than a Barber Shop. We are a Luxury Grooming Shop providing full-service grooming, designed for men in a state-of-the-art facility. We offer a full range of grooming services — haircuts, shaves, facials, manicures, and pedicures — for a man to look and feel his best in a relaxed atmosphere.

The staff responsibilities at Hammer & Nails Ridgewood may evolve over time to best suit the needs of a growing shop and a growing team.

We are seeking a skilled Barber/Stylist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for barbering and grooming and excellent customer service skills.

Primary Job Requirements:

• Remain current on New Jersey state licensing requirements and expectations.
• Provide individualized Cut & Shave services including:
  • Haircuts
  • Head & Face Shaves
  • Beard Trims & Grooming,
  • Facial Care, and Color Camo
  • Ability to cut long and short hair types
  • Ability to perform straight razor shaving.
  • The candidate also requires excellent communication and customer service skills.
