Precision Machining Technician

Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking a Precision Machining Technician to join their team. As a Precision Machining Technician, you will be part of the Production Department supporting the Materials Coordination Team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with people at all levels, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Precision Machining Technician

Location: Orchard Park

Pay Range: $17.30-$18.00/hr
Shift: Start time between 6am-7:30am (Monday-Friday 8 hour shifts)

What’s the Job?

1. Deburr parts using various hand tools (some power tools).
2. Install helicoil inserts and other components.
3. Clean and degrease parts.
4. Assist with packaging parts for shipments and perform wash and inspection.
5. Set up and operate secondary equipment such as drill press, tapping machines, and other related equipment.

What’s Needed?

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Ability to work with various hand tools.
3. Basic math and blueprint reading skills.
4. Ability to work with people at all levels.
5. Proper sense of confidentiality regarding company records and data.
