Join MidState Medical Center as a Clinical Coordinator (RN) in the Outpatient Spine and Pain center, where you'll be part of a vibrant and progressive organization known for quality stroke care, organ donation, and cardiovascular and pulmonary rehabilitation. This role involves assessing patients' conditions, setting goals, prescribing nursing actions, and ensuring comprehensive care including discharge planning. You'll also assist in coordinating nursing care, maintain standards of nursing care, and implement hospital policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Assess the patient's condition and set goals.
- Prescribe appropriate nursing actions to meet those goals.
- Meet the physical, psychological, social, and rehabilitative needs of the patient, including discharge planning.
- Assist in coordinating nursing care of patients when scheduled for therapy or procedures by other departments.
- Establish and maintain communications and utilize teaching opportunities with patients and other significant individuals.
- Maintain the standards of nursing care.
- Implement the policies and procedures of the hospital.
- Prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment to triage and assist physicians as needed.
Qualifications
Required
- Associate Degree in Nursing
- Valid CT RN license
- C.P.R. certification
- ACLS certification
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
