Responsibilities

As a Rear Loader Operator, you will be responsible for operating a rear loader truck to collect and transport waste and recyclables within designated routes in Gardiner, Maine. This role requires physical strength to handle loads weighing at least 50 pounds and entails adhering to safety protocols and municipal regulations.

• Safely operate a rear loader truck to collect and transport waste and recyclables
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and functionality
• Efficiently navigate assigned routes to meet collection schedules
• Interact professionally with customers and municipal representatives
• Maintain cleanliness and functionality of the rear loader truck

Qualifications

• Valid Class B commercial driver's license
• Ability to lift and handle loads weighing at least 50 pounds
• Previous experience operating rear loader trucks is preferred
• Strong commitment to safety and compliance with regulations
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
