Erickson Living is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to support residents in all aspects of daily living, providing person-centered care at Fox Run Village, a continuing care retirement community in Novi, Michigan. Responsibilities

  • Providing a holistic approach, supporting the residents' physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs
  • Providing day-to-day Physical Therapy treatments to meet resident's needs in all settings across the Erickson Senior Living community continuum of care
  • Following Medicare, state and federal regulations, APTA, and company policies and procedures and ensure departmental understanding and compliance in the areas of care provision, documentation, billing reimbursement, resident rights, customer service, and compliance, and other requirements as defined in the respective regulations
  • Implementing residents' personal care plans, focusing on residents' strengths, preferences, and preferred routines, while providing a sense of comfort, companionship, and belonging
  • Working with the interdisciplinary clinical team to ensure the needs of our residents are being addressed throughout their care

Qualifications

Required

  • Minimum of an associate's degree in physical therapy assistant program
  • Degree and training must meet current Medicare and state personnel requirements for Physical Therapy Assistants
  • Current CPR Certification
  • A valid current state license (for the state in which the community provides service) in physical therapy, where applicable

Preferred

  • Experience in the therapeutic care of the older adult across multiple diagnostic groups

Fox Run is a beautiful 108-acre continuing care retirement community in Novi, Michigan. We're part of a growing network of communities developed and managed by Erickson Senior Living, a national provider of senior living and health care with campuses in 11 states-and growing.

Compensation: $32 hourly

Our Physical Therapist Assistants support our residents in all aspects of daily living, providing person-centered care to ensure we meet all of our resident's needs. **Help people live better lives by:**

**What you will need:**
