A client of Insight Global is looking to hire Special Education Teacher's to join their team in the greater Denver-Metro Area. Special Education teacher advocates for students with disabilities, ensuring they have access to learning opportunities and equitable discipline processes. They assess students eligibility and develop SMART learning goals, administering alternative assessments as needed. Collaboration is key, as they work with various educational professionals and families to create integrated plans for students. Compliance with IDEA and ECEA regulations is essential, along with developing and implementing legally sound IEPs. Instruction involves planning age-appropriate lessons, implementing evidence-based practices, and differentiating instruction for diverse learners. Continuous professional development and effective classroom management are also crucial aspects of the role.

The hourly range for this position is $25-$46. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
