  • Complete daily duties such as maintaining logs, audits, activity/event reports/ and key controls.
  • Assist in creating access cards and parking passes.
  • Proficiently utilize and operate standard office equipment and personal computers.
  • Conduct random and route walks of the interior of the facility to ensure the buildings safety and security.
  • Works independently, assess situations, and implements good judgement making skills.
  • May perform other duties as assigned.

Location: Manchester, NH POSITION: Security Control Officer, Third Shift (4P-12A) DEPARTMENT: Operations FLSA STATUS: Non-exempt ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for Security Control Officer at the SNHU Arena, Manchester, NH 03101. SNHU Arena is New Hampshire's premier entertainment facility which hosts a wide range of events from trade shows, concerts, sporting events and family shows to name a few. This position is full time, third shift, with scheduled hours of 4:00 pm to 12:00 am Monday through Friday. The opportunity for overtime is available currently. POSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible for patrolling all areas of property and security doors, ensuring the safety of all guests, employees and contract labor while on premises; securing property during move in/out of events. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Monitor all surveillance, access control equipment and fire panels operated by the facility.

Prioritize situations and investigate/dispatch/report all safety and security-related incidents. Follow-up all incidents with written reports and recommendations.

Answer emergency, non-emergency and administrative phone lines and provide an appropriate response as required by the nature of the call.

Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all entities who maintain business on the property along with our visitors.

Be detail orientated and maintain accurate records and reports and thrive in a fast-paced environment and stay busy during slower times.

Complete daily duties such as maintaining logs, audits, activity/event reports/ and key controls.

Assist in creating access cards and parking passes.

Proficiently utilize and operate standard office equipment and personal computers using Outlook, MS Windows, Excel, Word, CCTV Video Management, etc..

Conduct random and route walks of the interior of the facility to ensure the buildings safety and security.

Works independently, assess situations, and implements good judgement making skills.

May perform other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or GED is required.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Maintain the highest standards of security ethics and competently handle confidential information.

Work independently with minimal supervision and exercises good judgement.

The ability to articulate information clearly, and concisely.

Exhibit strong customer service skills.

Effective written, verbal and interpersonal skills required with the ability to interact with all levels of staff including management, exhibitors, patrons, emergency responders, and others in the course of employment.

Professional presentation, appearance and work ethic. Must be able to speak, read and write English.

Must be at least 18 years old.
