Qualifications

Required

  • 10+ years of HR business partner experience
  • Strong HR business partner capability across broad areas, including talent acquisition, compensation, inclusive talent strategies, employee relations, organizational design and development, workforce planning, and change management
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills
  • Ability to proactively build strong consultative and collaborative relationships
  • Confident in partnering with and coaching leaders at all levels
  • Proactive problem solver with critical thinking, analytical skills, decision-making, good judgment, independence, autonomy, and accountability
  • Analytical mindset with comfort in data analysis tools
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline driven environment

The Role

The HR (Human Resources) Director will deliver HR business partner services and lead compensation, recruitment, diversity, training and organizational development initiatives in support of Fidelity s Wealth business. This person will provide coaching and support to mid and senior-level managers to improve their people leadership effectiveness and drive enterprise and business unit (BU) specific talent programs. Key areas of focus include organizational design, workforce planning, coaching and feedback, performance and change management, inclusion and engagement efforts. This role is on the HR team supporting the Marketing & Social Platforms and Customer Knowledge & Strategic Insights (CKSI) organizations within Fidelity Wealth.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • 10+ years of HR business partner experience
  • Strong HR business partner capability across broad areas, including talent acquisition, compensation, inclusive talent strategies, employee relations, organizational design and development, workforce planning, and change management
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, proactively building strong consultative and collaborative relationships with HR colleagues and business partners and effectively navigating across business units and functions
  • Combines business knowledge with curiosity and empathy in actively listening to the needs and concerns of business leaders and functional partners to develop strategic recommendations
  • Confident in partnering with and coaching leaders at all levels, challenging and influencing difficult issues and strategic decisions, as well as providing sophisticated solutions to complex issues in an ambiguous environment
  • Proactive problem solver who demonstrates critical thinking, analytical skills, decision-making, good judgment, independence, autonomy and accountability when executing your work
  • Analytical mindset, comfortable with data analysis tools, and ability to tell a story and influence organizational and talent decisions using data in consultation with leadership
