  • Assist in ordering, receiving, unpacking, and storing pharmaceuticals and related supplies in the appropriate locations, rotating stock and replacing outdated and unusable drugs.
  • Pick up orders, requisitions, and medications for return from patient care areas when on delivery rounds.
  • Organize and prioritize work assignments; respond timely to urgent and routine requests.

Qualifications

Required

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1 year of related pharmacy tech experience
  • State Board of Pharmacy Registration, as applicable by state

Preferred

  • 3 months sterile product compounding experience
  • ASHP Sterile Preparation Institutional Training Certification or similar
  • PTCB Certification
