Registered Nurse (RN) - Transitional Neuro Unit

FT - Day/Morning Rotating Shifts (Hours: 7a-7p & 7p-7a)

Weekends and holidays as required

The Transitional Neuro Unit is a 6-bed step down unit that focuses on the patients that were stepped down from the Neuro Critical Care unit at the Christiana Hospital. The Neuro Critical Care Unit focuses on the care of neurological and neurosurgical patients. This includes (but is not limited to), hemorrhagic and ischemic stroke, cerebral aneurysms, brain tumors, brain and spine infections, complicated spine surgeries, hydrocephalus, neuromuscular disorders, seizures/status epilepticus, and isolated neurotrauma.
