  • Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and materials.
  • Collaborate with Accounts Payable to ensure timely release of payments to suppliers.
  • Conduct vendor evaluations and develop strong supplier relationships.
  • Source and create new vendor profiles based on division needs and requirements.
  • Negotiate competitive prices and favorable terms with suppliers.
  • Create, update, and maintain comprehensive supplier purchasing files, including pricing information.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse inventory.
  • Review and maintain inventory systems to meet key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Identify and address inventory discrepancies in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
  • Perform regular cycle and physical counts of inventory.
  • Communicate with internal stakeholders to suggest improvements in inventory levels.
  • Monitor and review aging inventory to ensure timely turnover.
  • Manage all inventory within batch management systems to ensure accuracy and traceability.
  • Support reverse logistics processes to meet relevant KPIs.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelors Degree
  • 3 - 5 years experience
  • Experience with SAP, Microsoft Excel
  • Proven experience in procurement and inventory management
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to develop vendor relationships
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to perform physical and cycle counts accurately
  • Proficiency in inventory management systems and batch management
  • Strong communication skills for collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
  • Analytical skills to review and address inventory discrepancies effectively
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment
  • Ability to make sound decisions and recommendations
  • Detail oriented individual who works quickly and efficiently
  • Ability to manage multiple projects related to procurement and inventory
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship
