Overview:

Precision Valley Communications, a leader in the Broadband Engineering Industry, is looking for qualified individuals to join our Engineering Team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual interested in a career in the telecommunications industry. This role will support our production department to ensure that all work drafted and/or designed by our teams meets expectations based on the customer specifications.

Hours: 7am-3:30pm Monday-Friday

Responsibilities:

+ Perform Quality Control analysis on all CAD engineering Work Orders to ensure that the final product meets standards and practices.

+ Document any deviation from provided technical specifications and report the changes to the work order to the appropriate supervisory personnel.

+ Utilize, develop and/or modify project specific checklists and conform to standards.

+ If necessary, attend meetings and/or calls with engineers, drafters and/or supervisory personnel to discuss changes in Quality Control practices that will further enhance the finished engineering work order.

+ Work as part of a multi-faceted team consisting of engineering, construction, project management and scheduling personnel, all with a common interest of delivering results to the customer.

+ Daily engagement with drafters via email/phones as well as occasional conference calls.

+ Report and have accountability to the Quality Control Manager with frequent updates on work order deadlines.

+ Maintain safe working habits and conditions according to regulations and policies.

+ Other duties as assigned.

Pay $17-$23 an hour.

Qualifications:

+ Candidates with previous experience in Bentley MicroStation, AutoCAD, SpatialNET, IDDS or 3GIS will be given high priority.

+ Knowledge of broadband engineering a plus.

+ Must be proficient with a Windows operating system.

+ Must be proficient with Microsoft office applications (emphasis on Excel).

+ Must be able to read engineering work orders and other technical documentation.

+ Strong analytical and problem solving ability required.

+ Ability to prioritize and complete assignments accurately and in a timely manger.

+ Able to effectively handle multiple priorities with a strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

+ Strong interpersonal, organization, oral and written communications skills.

+ Must be able to work alone or with a team.

+ Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.

+ High School Diploma or GED
