POSITION OVERVIEW

As a Food Service Worker, you will be responsible for food preparation and maintaining all aspects of food preparation and clean up following all health and sanitary codes. You will report to the Food Service Supervisor and work onsite.

Responsibilities:

+ Maintain all requirements set forth in the health and sanitary codes.

+ Be responsible for cleanliness of work area and equipment following established cleaning procedures.

+ Wash dishes, pots and utensils.

+ Prepare and cook all meals using sufficient quantities of food to meet all meal schedules and number of persons being service.

+ Prepare special requests. Prepare and pack all meals for scheduled fieldtrips and cookout and provide support.

+ Keep accurate records of the amount of food used for each meal.

+ Prepare and pack meals for scheduled field trips and cookouts.

+ Put away and and rotate all food stock as received.

Requirements and Education:

+ High school diploma or GED preferred. Can read and write with skill to perform all job responsibilities.

+ A least 1 year of experience in institutional cooking preferred.
