  • Read, interpret, analyze, and forecast a project's cost report and determine the status of the job in terms of schedule and cost.
  • Be aware of unit costs and monitor and compare daily progress on site with that of the project's estimate.
  • Conduct project meetings as needed.
  • Coordinate, manage, and communicate with all vendors and effectively deal with problems such as delivery, labor, schedule, and payment disputes.
  • Ensure that the project is in a positive cash flow position and review project manager reports accurately and timely with the Sr. Management representative(s).

Qualifications

Required

  • Five plus years of electrical project management experience.
  • A licensed electrician or an electrical background.
  • Experience in commercial, mixed-use, or multi-dwelling.
  • Must be able to apply innovative and effective management techniques to maximize employee performance.
  • Thorough understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, standards, etc., and their impact on project activities.
  • Superior communication and interpersonal (tact, diplomacy, influence, etc.) skills are essential.
  • Proficiency in the department's computer system, department software, and typing necessary.
  • Have a valid Driver's License.

Preferred

  • Experience managing projects and two years' experience/knowledge of electrical construction, design, finance, and management required.
  • Experience with Accubid, Livecount, MS Projects, and Blue Beam
  • Capable of managing multiple high-revenue projects.
  • Design-Build experience

Hunt Electric, Inc. of Salt Lake City, UT is searching for a full-time Sr. Project Manager to join our Electrical Project Management team. The Sr. Project Manager will assist in the estimating, planning, initiating, and managing of information for various projects. This person will also serve as a liaison between business and technical aspects of projects and monitor progress to assure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met. The position requires a high level of electrical construction experience, and customer service to build and maintain relationships.

Major Duties:

WORK SCHEDULE:
This is a full-time position with a typical working schedule of Monday - Thursday 7:00am - 4:30pm and Friday 7:00am - 2:00pm.
