  • Consults with physicians regarding change in treatment via telecommunication
  • Prepares clinical and progress notes and turns notes in within 4 hours of completed visit

Qualifications

Required

  • Graduate from a physical therapist curriculum approved by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education, American Physical Therapy Association, or the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association, or the Council of Medical Education of the American Medical Association and American Physical Therapy Association
  • Currently licensed in the state of Kansas
  • Ability to exercise initiative and independent judgment
  • Reliable car and auto insurance
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Current CPR Certification (BLS- Red Cross or American Heart Association)
  • Negative TB test within last year
  • Clean background and criminal record
  • Laptop or Tablet that can be used in patient's home for charting purposes
  • COVID Vaccinated
  • Understands regulatory compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Adhere to HIPAA and maintain client confidentiality

Full Job Description

We are looking for a full-time PT to add to our team! The PT will be responsible for managing their own case load and working with worker's compensation patients along with assisting with Hospital in Your Home. The Hospital in Your Home experience is designed to provide hospital level care in a patient's home environment. This allows for deeper engagement between the clinical team and the patients, a consistent care team through phases of care, address goals of care and underlying social determinants of health and care that is designed and centered around the needs and wants of the patient. This is an experience we strongly believe in, and one that aligns with our own mission, vision, and values. We are looking for a Physical Therapist (PT) who equally supports this experience and is enthusiastic about replicating the capabilities of a brick-and-mortar hospital with in-home services.
