\nThe **Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center** has an outstanding opportunity for a **FULL-TIME CLINICAL ONCOLOGY PHARMACIST - COMMUNITY SITE FLOAT (Day Shifts)** This position will work at the **FHCC community sites, located at:- FHCC at Evergreen Hospital in Kirkland, WA- FHCC at UW Medical Center - Northwest in Seattle, WA- FHCC at Overlake Medical Center in Bellevue, WA- FHCC Peninsula Clinic, located in Poulsbo, WA**

\nThe Clinical Oncology Pharmacist (Pharmacist 3) is responsible for providing direction and leadership to pharmacy technicians, students, and residents who provide pharmaceutical care to patients at the FHCC. The pharmacist will lead the development and maintenance of safe, timely, efficient, equitable, effective, and patient-centered pharmacy patient care services. This position is a mix of dispensing and clinical activities and will support the infusion services at these clinics as well as oral chemotherapy monitoring.
\n
\nSuccessful candidates will possess a diverse and highly developed skill set including, but not limited to, time-management, communication, creativity, vision, teamwork, clinical knowledge base/skills, mentorship, change management, scholarship and teaching. Prior experience in an ambulatory oncology clinic is desired.
\n
\n **PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:**
\n- Implement and monitor patient medication therapy for achievement of desired therapeutic outcomes.
\n- Maintain accurate medication profiles for patients.
\n- Manage and lead the provision of safe, timely, efficient, equitable, effective, and patient-centered pharmacy patient care services.
\n- Collaborate with pharmacy managers to ensure safe, timely, efficient, equitable, effective, and patient-centered ambulatory pharmacy operations.
\n- Act as a resource and consultant to physicians, nurses, and patients regarding potential adverse reactions, interactions, and proper use and administration of drugs dispensed.
\n- Direct the work of pharmacy staff assigned to the work area or shift including interns, residents and pharmacy technicians.
\n- Perform all functions of a Pharmacist 2

\n **REQUIREMENTS:**
\nTwo years of experience in pharmacy practice. Months spent in the completion of an American Society of Health System Pharmacists accredited residency training program may substitute month-for-month for the experience.

\nThe Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center (FHCC, formerly Seattle Cancer Care Alliance), Oncology Pharmacist team provides extensive pharmaceutical care to inpatient and ambulatory patients. In addition to direct care, pharmacists participate in drug therapy consults, conduct clinical research protocols, provide patient/family/staff education, and precept pharmacy students and residents. FHCC combines the adult and pediatric oncology patient care services of two world-renowned cancer care institutions: Seattle Children's and UW Medicine.
