- Monitor expenditures related to facility maintenance and implement cost-saving measures.
- Prepare and manage the facilities maintenance budget.
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other building systems.
- Ensure all equipment and systems function efficiently and effectively.
- Coordinate with other departments to support their operational needs.
- Plan, execute, and oversee facility improvement projects.
- Manage external contractors and ensure they adhere to organizational standards.
- Develop and implement emergency response plans for facilities-related incidents.
- Conduct regular emergency drills and ensure staff are trained in emergency procedures.
Qualifications
Required
- Minimum of 5 years in facilities maintenance, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
- Proven experience in budget management and cost control.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in using facilities management software and tools.
Preferred
- Certification in facilities management (e.g., CFM, FMP)

Position Overview: PlanITROI is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facility Maintenance Custodian to oversee the maintenance and operations of our facility. The ideal candidate will ensure that the building and its services meet the needs of the organization, manage maintenance staff, coordinate with service providers, and implement best practices in facility management. This role is crucial for maintaining a safe, efficient, and well-functioning work environment. This is an onsite position based in Youngsville, North Carolina.
Primary Responsibilities:
+ Plan, organize, and supervise all maintenance and repair activities for the organization's facility.
+ Develop and implement maintenance schedules and preventive maintenance programs to ensure facility longevity and operational efficiency.
+ Ensure the facility complies with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
+ Encourage teamwork and collaboration among maintenance and cleaning staff.
+ Monitor expenditures related to facility maintenance and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
+ Ensure that all equipment and systems function efficiently and effectively, addressing any issues promptly.
+ Coordinate with other departments to support their operational needs and address facility-related concerns.
+ Oversee facility improvement projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to required quality standards.
+ Manage external contractors, ensuring they adhere to organizational standards and policies.
+ Build Racks, benches, conveyors and install new equipment enhancing PlanITROI's technology
+ Maintain 5S in operations including taping of floors and proper location signs
Requirements & Experience:
+ Minimum of 1-3 years in facilities maintenance
+ Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
+ Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of fostering a positive work environment.
+ Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
+ This position requires daily on-site presence.
+ May involve occasional evening or weekend work to address emergencies or complete projects.
+ Candidates must successfully pass a background check and drug screening as part of the hiring process
