Qualifications
Required
- Master's degree from an accredited institution in Education and special education (TOSD) and elementary teaching certification
- 3 or more years teaching experience in an inclusive education setting at the elementary level
- Teaching experience in college-level courses
- Experience in the use of instructional technologies
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Use of learning-centered teaching methodologies
- Experience in curriculum development
- Evidence of a strong commitment to teach and remain current in the field of Education
- Experience using educational technologies effectively
- Experience teaching online and in person
- Experience developing and implementing programmatic assessment tools
- Demonstrated commitment to community college mission
- Active participation in college community
- Availability to work weekdays, evenings, and weekends as needed

Minimum Qualifications
Education Required:
Master's degree from an accredited institution in Education and special education (TOSD) and elementary teaching certification
PREFERRED EDUCATION:
Certification in one or more of the following areas:
+ ESL or Bilingual Education
+ Certified school counselor or advanced degree in counseling or social work
+ Reading specialist
Experience Required:
+ 3 or more years teaching experience in an inclusive education setting at the elementary level
+ Teaching experience in college-level courses
+ Experience in the use of instructional technologies
Skills/Abilities /Knowledge /Other Requirements
+ Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
+ Use of learning-centered teaching methodologies.
+ Experience in curriculum development.
+ Evidence of a strong commitment to teach and remain current in the field of Education, including both traditional curricula as well as alternate methods of delivery.
+ Experience using educational technologies effectively. Experience with Blackboard Ultra is beneficial.
+ Experience teaching online and in person.
+ Experience developing and implementing programmatic assessment tools.
+ Demonstrated commitment to community college mission of providing instruction to students of diverse abilities, interests, and cultural backgrounds.
+ Active participation in college community.
+ Availability to work weekdays, evenings, and weekends as needed.
