The Labor Management System Support Analyst at AutoZone, Inc. is responsible for providing analysis and system support for the Work Force Management system (zTASC), serving as the primary administrator. Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary Work Force Management system (zTASC) administrator.
  • Responsible for overall system maintenance, testing, labor modeling, and legislative compliance within the system.
  • Responsible for creating and managing support tickets with IT and the Workforce Management Vendor, then lead and oversee tickets to completion.
  • Serve as subject matter expert for zTASC and labor model components and provide recommendations for improving system utilization and labor allocation.
  • Act as a liaison between the business and Work Force Management system (zTASC) vendor.
  • Responsible for maintaining labor model activities and standards.
  • Act as the liaison between the business and IT as it relates to scheduling/hours/payroll.
  • Act as the liaison between the business and third-party vendors for time study projects or application implementation.
  • Perform analysis related to sales, hours, payroll as it relates to scheduling.
  • Reports trends with analysis to make recommendations to management and leadership.
  • Assists in planning and postmortem analytical reviews of projects and business processes.
  • Collaborate with the team to complete time studies projects.
  • Complete weekly scheduling processes and schedule generation.
  • Create PowerPoint presentations to present analytical findings and results to leadership.
  • Act as a project lead for initiatives and objectives for the labor management team.
  • Responsible for Labor Management support projects such as hours of operation optimization, labor model efficiencies and improvements, and new labor model creation.
  • Acts as voice of the team and subject matter expert to leadership and field with regards to Labor Models and Management.
  • Partner with various teams (Process Improvement team, HR, etc.) on training development and content using training guides, video shorts and our guided learning software.

Qualifications

Required

  • BA/BS degree in Industrial Engineering, Business, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, or related analytical degree. Master's degree is a plus.
  • Area of study in statistics, economics, engineering, business analytics, finance, etc., or equivalent professional experience in analytics, and/or business analysis.

Full Job Description

The Labor Management System Support Analyst will be part of a team that provides analysis and system support to keep pace in a business environment that has ever changing requirements and regulations.

This role will serve as primary Work Force Management system (zTASC) administrator, and work with various teams to support stores through our workforce management system (zTASC). Through system administration and analysis, the Labor Management System Support Analyst will serve as the subject matter expert for our Work Force Management system ensuring that the zTASC is aligned with current labor requirements as well as ensuring that the labor is properly allocated to stores.

The Labor Management System Support Analyst will act as a liaison between the business and other departments as well as our third-party vendors used to support zTASC. This individual will be responsible for the analysis of information related to scheduling, sales, hours, and payroll as well as making recommendations to improve support and performance, and leading projects and initiatives for the labor management team.
