Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair various machinery and mechanical equipment, including engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machinery.
- Identify and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, or process issues to determine root causes and collaborate on repair plans with operators, supervisors, or managers.
- Perform mechanical or electrical adjustments to equipment and processes as required.
- Assist with equipment setup and changeover procedures.
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance tasks.
- Document maintenance activities, issues, and repairs using physical documents or online systems.
- Ensure cleanliness of the work area to promote a safe and productive environment.
Qualifications
Required
- Previous maintenance experience in production environments
- Strong knowledge of PLCs and Pneumatics
- Proficient reading blueprints, machinery schematics, and part drawings
Preferred
- Lean/Six Sigma experience or training
