Full Job Description

The Instructor provides instruction for students enrolled in the Pomeroy College of Nursing and evaluates students in a specific educational setting: classroom, laboratory and/or clinical. Adjunct faculty are expected to maintain regular, pre-planned contact with the team leaders and/or nursing laboratory manager.

Job Requirements:

Required: Bachelors Degree in Nursing required. Enrolled in Master's degree in Nursing program with degree completion plan in place upon hire. Currently licensed as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State. Must have Basic Life Support (BLS) at the time of hire or within two (2) weeks after hire. Minimum of two (2) years of full time or its equivalent in clinical nursing experience in the assigned area of responsibility.

Preferred: Master's Degree in Nursing preferred. Experience with adult learning strategies/theories and curriculum and program development preferred.

Special Skills/Equipment: Demonstrated competency in the teaching/learning process. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office and Outlook.

Salary range starts at $80,000+ based on experience and education
