Responsibilities

  • Supervises Front Office Team Members, ensuring adherence to hotel's policies and standards.
  • Manages and develops Front Desk Agents and Supervisors.
  • Assists Front Office Team with their job functions to ensure optimum service to guests.
  • Welcomes and registers all arriving guests, ensuring all pertinent information is obtained.
  • Conducts check-in and checkout procedures efficiently.
  • Maintains healthy communication with Housekeeping and Engineering departments to ensure guest expectations are met.
  • Responds to all guests' requests in a proper manner and ensures appropriate action is taken.
  • Meets requests regarding guest billing.
  • Handles cash transactions in accordance with the property's cash handling policy.
  • Maintains current knowledge of hotel culture, amenities, and services, events in the area, points of interest, and services in the area.
  • Answers the telephone in a professional manner and assists guests with any questions, directions, etc.
  • Manages and resolves all guest complaints and compliments in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Communicates with all departments regarding in-house VIPs and any special requests/needs.
  • Serves as a leader in displaying outstanding hospitality skills.

Qualifications

Required

  • At least one year experience in a role as supervisor
  • Hotel experience required
