Responsibilities
- Assume 24-hour accountability and responsibility for excellence in the clinical and operational practice of nursing and the delivery of patient care.
- Supervise all levels of personnel on unit position control.
- Ensure compliance with nursing standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive rehabilitation services.
- Manage nursing resources to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
- Participate in the development and implementation of nursing policies and procedures.
- Provide leadership and support to nursing staff to foster professional growth and development.
- Ensure the integration of evidence-based practices into nursing care.
- Promote a culture of patient-centered care and quality improvement.
- Participate in the management of the nursing budget and resources.
- Ensure compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care across the continuum.
Qualifications
Required
- DE RN License or Compact Nursing License
- BSN and Master’s degree or Bachelor’s and Master of Science in Nursing from an accredited school
- Five years of appropriate clinical and leadership experience
- Experience in Rehab preferred
- Nursing Professional certification in a related nursing specialty is required
- Nurse Executive certification preferred

ChristianaCare Center for Rehabilitation at Wilmington Hospital seeks an experienced Nurse Manager (RN) to assume 24-hour accountability and responsibility for excellence in the clinical and operational practice of nursing and the delivery of patient care in the Center for Rehabilitation ANCC Magnet® designated unit/practice area within Christiana Care Health Services.
The Center for Rehabilitation at Wilmington Hospital helps our patients reclaim their independence and activity level, which puts them back on the road to their best health. We are an accredited Comprehensive Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility with specialty accreditation in stroke, brain injury, and limb loss by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF).
Our team of specially trained healthcare professionals at the ChristianaCare Center for Rehabilitation at Wilmington Hospital (CRWH) is dedicated to rehabilitation to help patients regain or improve the skills needed for daily life. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- DE RN License or Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
- BSN Required.
- Master of Science in Nursing from an accredited school preferred or commitment to obtain within 3 years of hire date.
- Five years of appropriate clinical and leadership experience.
- Experience in Rehab preferred.
- Nursing Professional certification in a related nursing specialty is required.
- Nurse Executive certification preferred.
