**Job Description:**

Works in the laboratory to fabricate prototypes for animal and bench testing and performs testing and documentation duties with direct supervision. - Fabricate prototypes, pilot units, qualifications units, and validation units - Records test results on standard forms and writes test reports describing procedures used - Provides support for the development of new products - Interfaces with assemblers to teach new procedures - Conducts tests to verify product integrity in the design phase - Recognizes problems and takes corrective action

**Qualifications:**

- Set-up, adjust and operate laboratory equipment and instruments such as microscopes - Comprehension of technical documents - Basic math skills - HS Diploma or equivalent. High school/trade school education, or equivalent experience - Up to 3 years assembly or hands-on technician work - Prior experience in the medical device industry preferred - General computer skills including Word and Excel desirable
