The Mobile Health Services Driver is responsible for driving the Mobile Health Services Unit to various Geisinger facilities and other locations according to assigned schedules. Responsibilities

  • Prepares the Mobile Health Services Unit for the daily runs, drives the unit to scheduled location, and completes post-deployment checklists upon return.
  • Re-supplies the unit with necessary items.
  • Maintains equipment as assigned, such as cleaning the inside of vehicles, simple preventive maintenance.
  • Prepares the unit for safe use by staff and patients, which includes leveling and securing the unit and initiating the power supply by starting the generator or plugging to the approved voltage outlet, as well as other actions necessary to make the site safe.
  • Adheres to all professional and CMV DOT regulations.
  • Adheres to infection control procedures, safety standards and traffic rules, and DOT regulations.
  • Reports complaints, observations, problems, suggestions, etc., to the Director in a timely manner.
  • Maintains courteous, confidential and cooperative communications with all contacts.

Qualifications

Required

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)
  • Commercial Driver's License - Class B - Unrestricted - Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT)

Preferred

  • RV driving experience

Job Summary
