The Program Manager at Midland Recruiters will lead injection mold tooling builds and validation, specialized equipment/automation builds and validation, and develop tooling and automation specifications. Responsibilities
- Lead injection mold tooling builds and validation.
- Lead specialized equipment / automation builds and validation.
- Develop tooling and automation specifications.
- Determine, quote, and present solutions to support unique customer manufacturing requests.
- Conduct design reviews of injection mold tooling and specialized equipment / automation.
- Create and perform validations of equipment and processes for use in producing medical components and devices.
- Support Project Engineers in a matrix environment.
- Assist Sales and Marketing group with generating proposals.
- Assist manufacturing with specialized equipment / automation troubleshooting.
- Support manufacturing with Customer Complaint investigations and Corrective Action implementation.
- Obtain internal Six Sigma Blackbelt training and perform continuous improvement projects.
- Capable of traveling to meet with Customers and Suppliers as needed.
- May be required to perform the duties of Quality Engineering if necessary.
- May be required to hold and/or attend training meetings and or information meetings.
Qualifications
Required
- Degree in plastics engineering preferred, but not required.
- Plastic injection molding experience required.
- Knowledge in mold flow and scientific processing.
- Advanced utilization of Microsoft Project.
- Proficiency in RJG Master Molder (preferred) and Beaumont AIM (preferred).
