The Senior Manager Operational Excellence at Winland Foods is a highly visible role responsible for leveraging the Winland Excellence Systems to drive performance improvement across multiple manufacturing sites.   • Oversee deployment and reapplication of the Winland Excellence Systems (MOS/Daily Direction Setting, Defect Handling, Maintenance Planning & Scheduling, Problem Solving, Deep Cleaning, Centerline, Clean Inspect Lubricate, and Health Checks).
  • Integrate digital solutions and platforms into the operating model to eliminate non-value added activity and advance problem solving initiatives.
  • Ensure alignment and adherence to current standards, while methodically improving the standards based on best practices across the industry.
  • Coach and provide feedback to plant managers and site leadership teams to advance from compliance to effective execution of the core Winland Excellence Systems.
  • Coordinate, facilitate, and support trainings both virtually and in person to improve technical capability and problem solving proficiency across the network.
  • Lead program reporting activities (KPI tracking, goal setting, impact valuation).
  • Plan and deliver update meetings with senior management to review pain points and develop solutions.
  • Engage with teams to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Oversee objectives and adjust priorities to deliver Digitally Enabled Lean value ambitions.
  • Advance the maturity of the Winland Excellence Systems.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred in Engineering, Supply Chain or Business.
  • Weekly Monday-Thursday travel- 3 weeks traveling and 1 week home rotation.
  • Ability to obtain a Passport for travel outside of the United States.
  • Manufacturing leadership and coaching experience (3-5 years plant leadership level).
  • Firm grasp and internalization of Continuous Improvement principles.
  • Experience leveraging various digital platforms to drive continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrated ability to teach technical problem solving and root cause analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to disagree effectively; considering differing points of view objectively and articulate a recommended path forward to resolve conflicts.
  • Proven presentation and communication skills engaging with multiple levels of an organization (Senior Leadership through Front Line Employees).
  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work well and communicate with others.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
