As a Business Analyst at ConGlobal, you will play a key role in driving business improvements by analyzing data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights. You will work closely with stakeholders across the organization to understand their needs, develop solutions, and implement strategies that enhance operational efficiency and support business objectives. Responsibilities

  • Model and price railroad terminal operations, warehouse yard management, and/or depot storage and operation opportunities.
  • Make recommendations and manage a tariff for transactional business, adjusting for capacity, demand, and other relevant dynamics.
  • Monitor monthly pricing results and create reporting to share pricing trends, outcomes, and future actions.
  • Gather, analyze, and interpret complex data sets to provide meaningful insights and recommendations.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor business performance.
  • Conduct trend analysis to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Create yearly budget templates for each assigned location and evaluate key drivers based on macro and microeconomic factors.
  • Consult with Reginal VPs of Operations and Sales to set and adjust financial goals.
  • Create presentations for board of directors and other stakeholders.
  • Evaluate current business processes and systems to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and develop business cases for proposed solutions.
  • Monitor project progress and address any issues that arise.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and collaboration.
  • Communicate findings, recommendations, and updates effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of increasing experience in business administration, finance, marketing/sales, or similar business operations role required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power BI).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
