Arc of Onondaga is actively seeking dedicated, ambitious Direct Support Professionals to join our Residential Team!
Our Residential Direct Support Professionals (Relief) have the privilege of providing person-centered services to people with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities on an "as needed" basis. In this position, you will be responsible but not limited to providing hands-on assistance, along with instruction and guidance, while supporting people as they work to reach their goals and fullest potential.
Education & Experience Requirements:
+ High School diploma or GED
+ Valid NYS Driver's License (preferred)
+ Has a passion for working with and creating positive, impactful relationships in the lives of the people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
+ Exhibits positive approaches that provide encouragement, mentoring and instruction resulting in effectively achieving and maintaining independence and integration within the community.
