A Carter Custom Millwork Warehouse Specialist is responsible for conducting the workflow of shipping and receiving materials. Ensures proper and organized storage of stock and custom materials, while also securing outgoing materials for delivery. A strong belief in the mission and goals of the company are necessary to this position.

Responsibilities:

Warehousing

+ Responsible for providing proper storage of all materials produced and received. Assists in inventory on stock material and reports shortages to proper personnel. Ensures incoming orders are correct and placed in proper storage areas.

Loading

+ Responsible for loading stock and custom materials according to the order.

+ Load and secures on box trucks, semi trailers, sprinter vans for delivery

Safety

+ Adheres to safety requirements when operating tools and equipment. Handles material in a safe and appropriate manner. Reports any defects or safety issues immediately.

Reporting Relationships: A Warehouse Specialist reports to the Loading Supervisor. Based upon the market's organization structure, a Warehouse Specialist may report to other positions including the Operations Manager. No position reports to Warehouse Specialist.
