  • ADN or Nursing Diploma
  • Current unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse from the state(s) in which he or she will be practicing and/or compact state license
  • Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)

Preferred

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • Certification in specialty preferred; certifications and competencies to support care area and patient population served.

Night Shift Med/Surg positions for Sugar Land with the expectation that they can float to Patients Medical Center located in Pasadena TX

A CommonSpirit Health Traveler RN is a direct clinical patient care registered nurse (RN) who provides independent patient care within their scope of practice. The nurse is highly skilled in patient care; actively enhancing core nursing skills and developing advanced nursing knowledge skills abilities and behaviors through education and involvement in nursing activities beyond basic job requirements and responsibilities.

**Qualifications**

+ Minimum 2 years of experience as registered nurse in a medical/surgical units

+ ADN or Nursing Diploma

+ Current unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse from the state(s) in which he or she will be practicing and/or compact state license

+ Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)

+ additional credentials may be required based on specialty and area(s) of assignment as specified by the requesting facility, state license and other regulatory requirements for local, state and federal agencies.

+ Certification in specialty preferred; certifications and competencies to support care area and patient population served.

**Preferred:**

**Pay Range**

$46.96 - $68.10 /hour
