Registered Veterinary Technician - Surgical PT

We’re seeking a skilled Registered Veterinary Technician with a passion for surgery/anesthesia to join our team who is passionate about providing excellence in surgical care and committed to providing the highest quality patient care. You have at least 2 years of experience monitoring anesthesia for veterinary patients. You are solid in your skillset but always seeking growth and advancement. You understand the importance of a positive culture and open/honest communication.

Key responsibilities for this position include (but are not limited to):

· Venipuncture and IV catheter placement

· Assist veterinarians during surgical procedures by preparing surgical suites, equipment, instruments, and patients

· Monitor anesthesia administration and patient vital signs before, during, and after surgery

· Maintain a sterile environment and ensure proper sanitation of surgical instruments

· Provide post-operative care and recovery for surgical patients

· Assist in handling and restraining animals during examinations and procedures

· Maintain accurate medical records and documentation

Salary: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
