  • Serve as primary member of the estimating team with overall responsibility for creating budgets and estimates.
  • Responsible for oversight of the estimating process for all projects bid and awarded.
  • Establishes standardized procedures, methods, and processes for estimating.
  • Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
  • Oversees analysis of past performance on projects and establishes estimating standards for all future estimates based on such analysis.

  • Master's degree or equivalent; or four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Position Summary:


The Estimating Manager demonstrates leadership with an ability to support the team with the implementation of leading-edge processes and systems. Manages the estimating team and oversees multiple projects simultaneously. Provides estimating leadership through all design stages and construction stage of the projects. Works with cross functional departments/engineering team to support the construction team with all cost proposal with estimating and scope of works.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage staff performance and development for Estimating Department.

• Recruit, train, and mentor an estimating team concentrating in high technical industries.

• Review and approve new project pricing requests and assign to senior estimators.

• Own, maintain, and standardize estimating standard templates. This will include, but not be limited to estimating templates, Sub - RFP templates, Bid Forms, and Scope of Work templates and standardization.

• Conduct continuous improvement of estimating tools.

• Assists in oversight of the historical cost database and bid management and estimating software.

• Serve as primary member of the estimating team with overall responsibility for creating budgets and estimates.

• Responsible for oversight of the estimating process for all projects bid and awarded.

• Establishes standardized procedures, methods, and processes for estimating.

• Prepares special reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing information and trends.
