The Warehouse Manager at HYTORC is responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of the inbound/outbound warehouse functions, supporting departments, and driving process improvement to achieve business objectives. This role involves coordinating with department leads to ensure product flow, correct inventory discrepancies, maintain OSHA and ISO compliance, and manage a team of supervisors and leads.

Responsibilities

  • Works with department leads to ensure product is inspected, received, tested, calibrated and put away efficiently and correctly using Resolv WMS
  • Coordinates with department leads to ensure product is available to pick, pack and ship using Resolv WMS, in order to meet quality standards and daily shipping commitments
  • Corrects inventory discrepancies / errors in a timely manner and ensure root causes are addressed
  • Ensures OSHA regulations, especially those related Power Industrial Trucks, are followed and ISO procedures are updated and adhered to
  • Assists in developing and maintaining operational KPIs and related metrics
  • Uses MS Excel to analyze data sets and generate short term forecasting reports, track multi order shipments and assist with special projects
  • Manages, motivates and trains between eight and ten Supervisors and Leads
  • First point of contact for priority orders and emergency shipments on weekends
  • Maintains a safe and clean working environment in all three buildings
  • Effectively plans, interacts and communicates with Customer Service, Export, Domestic and Rentals Departments on a daily basis
  • Documents and assists with trouble shooting Dematic and Resolv WMS related issues
  • Other warehouse and operational duties as needed

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum of five years experience as a Senior Warehouse Manager
  • Additional experience in production or light assembly
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Knowledge of SAP B1, Resolv WMS and Dematic

  • Approximately eight direct reports and thirty indirect report


Education/Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum of five years experience as a Senior Warehouse Manager with additional experience in production or light assembly


Computer Skills Necessary:

  • MS Office with advanced Excel, SAP B1, Resolv WMS and Dematic


Physical Demands/Requirements:

  • Occasional physical work in the warehouse and office


Work Environment:

  • Warehouse and office settings, must have the ability to travel to vendor sites and other locations when necessary
