Shop Technician

J&P Electrical Company is hiring a Shop Technician for our Eastpointe location. We are an industrial electrical salvage and restoration company focusing on reconditioning new and used industrial electrical equipment.

Our technicians refurbish industrial electrical equipment, which involves lifting, painting, sanding, and some general labor. This position will also be trained in all aspects of the reconditioning process, including assembly and testing. Warehouse workers will assist in stocking shelves, tracking inventory, and receiving items.

The ideal candidate will be prompt, dependable, and have their own transportation. Forklift experience is an advantage. We offer competitive starting pay with the ability to work overtime and medical and dental insurance. · Own a reliable vehicle

· Have a cell phone

· Lift 50 lbs. regularly

· Go through a background check

Some of the daily tasks associated with the position of Shop Technician include:

· Sanding

· Sandblasting

· Painting

· General shop labor

· Stocking shelves

· Inventory tracking

· Warehouse receiving

This position is full-time, 40 hours per week, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.

The pay is $18/hour. Includes benefits plus a $500 bonus after 90 days of employment.
