ClearObject is seeking a motivated technologist with leadership, interpersonal, and technical skills to serve as a Technical Project Manager. Responsibilities

  • Ownership of the relationship and communication with ClearObject customers
  • Business analysis work such as owning customer success as defined in statements of work (SOW)
  • Serve as the single voice on releases to assure engineering deliverables are meeting the needs of the customer
  • Raise risks/impediments to design team, lead root cause analysis and resolution of quality issues
  • Facilitate communications between sales, development, and quality
  • Implement/lead/manage all processes, practices, and tools that allow for multiple paths of delivery
  • Recommend improvements and help drive alignment across the development organization
  • Inspire others to adopt new processes and improved software tools
  • Work with customer and technical teams to collect and understand business information requirements covering cost, utilization, and quality
  • Participate actively in the user interface design of applications
  • Analyze and translate business and user requirements into high-level designs and functional specifications
  • Identify potential alternative solutions to solve business needs and articulate the pros and cons of the various approaches
  • Break down design requirements into user stories for Software
  • Participate in acceptance testing and provide feedback
  • Experience creating and writing customer technical deliverable documentation
  • Some travel may be required (< 20% expected)

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or another applicable degree
  • Experience in a software development environment
  • Excellent communication skills including verbal, presentation, and technical writing

Preferred

  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)

Full Job Description

ClearObject is looking for a motivated technologist who has leadership, interpersonal, & technical skills. As a Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for formulating business solutions and defining requirements for technical teams solving complex problems. Expect to be collaborating with customers and other stakeholders to create the high-level designs and the detailed functional designs that will be used to develop products. Clearly articulating business requirements to both technical and non-technical resources is essential to this role. Breaking down requirements into pieces of work that bring the most business value to market is a key strength.

  • Work with customer and technical teams to collect and understand business information requirements covering cost, utilization, and quality
  • Participate actively in the user interface design of applications
  • Analyze and translate business and user requirements into high-level designs and functional specifications which could include the design of new or changed processing, data requirements, reporting requirements, ad-hoc analysis requirements for analytics applications
  • Identify potential alternative solutions to solve business needs and articulate the pros and cons of the various approaches
  • Break down design requirements into user stories for Software
  • Participate in acceptance testing and provide feedback
  • Experience creating and writing customer technical deliverable documentation
  • Some travel may be required (<20% expected)


Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or another applicable degree
  • Experience in a software development environment
  • Excellent communication skills including verbal, presentation, and technical writing
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), preferred
